Candidates are expected to have extensive experience with Social Media on a personal level with use on a business level preferred. You must be able to think strategically and see how Social Media fits into the business marketing strategy of a television station.
Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To:
Uploading videos, photo albums, etc.
Rewriting incoming News releases
Writing and posting to Facebook, Twitter, Website, etc.
Observing and applying Facebook analytics
Replying to comments, messages, etc.
Skills and Attributes Expected:
Excellent written and verbal communication, strong editing skills
Knowledge of Social Media – Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, etc.
Energy, with a desire to come up with fresh ideas on how to grow our online presence
Ability to identify a target market and “speak” to that consumer through Social Media
Experience proofreading and editing
Minor video editing skills are a plus
Journalism background helpful, but not essential.
Pre-employment drug screening required. EOE.
Must possess a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
HOURS: This is a full time position: Weekdays 12:00PM-8:30PM
