IBA-U2012 has been set for September 21, 2012 on the campus of Illinois State University in Normal, Illinois.  Registration materials will be available August 1, 2012.

IBA-University is a one-day conference for college juniors and seniors interested in a broadcasting or media related career.  Students can select from panel discussions, workshops, and presentations put on by broadcast professionals.  Each session features at least one broadcast professional and often times includes a panel of professionals that address topics such as sports broadcasting, newroom policies, photojournalism, expectations of employers, media sales, and the new media options available to radio and television stations.  Panelists are recruited by members of the IBAcademics Committee, a working committee of the IBA comprised of faculty representatives from Illinois colleges and universities offering broadcast media programs.
