Vanguard Award

The Illinois Broadcasters Association’s Vanguard Award acknowledges the hard work, commitment and tenacity of team members who have served an Illinois broadcast organization for a minimum of 20 years. Qualifying individuals include team members who work behind the scenes (ie.–newsrooms, administration, logistics, etc…) to ensure their respective operations perform at the highest level. Up to five individuals from across the state are recognized annually.
