Morning Show Host
Job Location: Mt. Vernon, IL
94.1 WMIX in Mt. Vernon, Illinois is looking for a Morning Show Host to wake up Southern Illinois with energy, authenticity, and great local content!
The ideal candidate loves Country music, thrives on connecting with listeners, and understands what local radio is all about. You’ll host a live, local show 6 a.m.–10 a.m., handle production, digital, and community engagement, and voice-track or fill in across our sister stations (Classic Rock, CHR, AC, Adult Standards, Oldies).
Workday: 5 a.m.–2 p.m. (includes 1-hour lunch) plus select after hours events and live broadcasts
Experience with Rivendell/NexGen, social media skills, and a strong work ethic are a plus.
